The cage has become a bird/ La jaula se vuelto pájaro
In this installation, the cage, once a symbol of restriction and confinement, has been transformed into a kind of dreamlike architecture of open spaces. Inside are small sculptures (text balloons), representing freedom of expression and thought. A conversation of infinite possibilities is happening in those spaces. At the same time, it talks about personal space (a house), and privacy, but also about shared space (a building), the need for connection, and the community we have with each other.
En esta instalación la jaula, que alguna vez fue un símbolo de restricción y confinamiento, se ha transformado en una especie de arquitectura onírica de espacios abiertos. En el interior hay pequeñas esculturas (globos de texto), que representan libertad de expresión y de pensamiento. Una conversación de posibilidades infinitas está sucediendo en esos espacios. Al mismo tiempo, habla sobre el espacio personal (una casa), privacidad, pero también del espacio compartido (un edificio), la necesitad de conexión y comunidad que tenemos con el otro.
